SIS has been developing stereo vision systems across multiple generations. The system has evolved from a single stereo pair to left and right pairs alongside color and infrared cameras.
The current generation is codenamed "SwampHammer", and is being developed under the SwampWorks - Safe Navigation in Challenging Environments project.
The previous generation is codenamed "HammerHead", and is being tested under the HammerHead project.
An SIS Stereo system was developed in house for the AMN project. This system used stereo EO for object detection using point clouds.
